Guide: What Your Eye Shape Says About You & Your Personality
They Say Your Eyes Are The Window To Your Soul
They say your eyes are the window to your soul. Is this true? We have put together a blog to reveal what your eye shape says about you. We have covered all eye shapes and have wrote blogs on every single eye shape!
These are a few things a person can understand about you by just looking at your eyes based on Chinese face reading. To have a more accurate reading you will need to keep in mind other facial features such as the lips, cheeks and chin etc. It’s important you base the readings of your eye shape of what your eyes look like prior to makeup. This is because makeup alters and can be used to manipulate your eye shape.
Downward-Slanting / Down Turned Eyes
What are down turned eyes?
Downturned eyes are usually an almond-shaped, with a downward tilt at the outer corners. This angle tends to make the upper eyelid appear longer than the lower lid. With the right pair of false eyelashes, you can emphasize this gorgeous eye shape and make your gaze look more open and bright.
How Do I Know If I Have Down Turned Eyes?
A common misconception is those with almond shaped eyes thinking they have town turned eyes.
- To check if you have almond eyes – you have a visible crease in your eyelid (unlike those with round shaped eyes). Your iris will touch both your bottom and top eyelid.
- To check you have down turned eyes – the outer corners of your eyes turn down wards. If you are struggling to decide if you have down turned eyes, grab a mirror and imagine a straight line going from your nose, through your pupil and to the side of your face. If the corners of your eyes tilt down wards, you have down turned eyes. If the corners are straight you have almond eyes. If your outer corner of your eye tilts upwards, you have up turned eyes!
What Down Turned Eyes say about you
- Easily Dominated
Those with downward slanting eyes tend to be very dependent on their loved ones. They have a pessimistic streak, which often makes it difficult for them to take any decision themselves. They are easily dominated, and find it very difficult to say ‘no’ to anything. The silver lining here, though, is that they are very easy to get along with, are loyal and can be life long companions.
